Aqauamarine is a member of the Beryl family (along with emerald) and its colour ranges from palest through to deepest sea blue.  Most aquamarine is pale in colour.
Its properties are said to include boosting the respiratory system but its affinity as a water element stone is said to make it a powerful emotional cleanser as well.
